As we move toward the final quarter of 2025, Roam is progressing with exciting developments. This past month, the team focused on enhancing the app, refining the points and sticker system, building strategic partnerships, and driving community engagement. Here’s a look at October’s key highlights.
1. Over 4 Million $ROAM Burned
October marked a major milestone: more than 4 million $ROAM were burned through the token reversal pool. This achievement reflects strong community confidence and brings Roam closer to a deflationary token model. With a total supply of 1 billion $ROAM, the team remains committed to reducing the circulating supply as more tokens enter the reversal pool.

2. Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment
Roam introduced a dynamic difficulty adjustment mechanism beginning with the 20,000th burn cycle. Under this upgrade, token emissions are automatically recalculated every 1,000 cycles (approximately every 11.6 days). This system directly ties token emission to network validation activity, specifically user Check-Ins. When activity remains consistent, emissions follow the standard rate; when activity increases or decreases, the system adjusts output accordingly. This helps manage sell pressure and supports stronger overall price stability.
In the long term, dynamic difficulty adjustment aims to reinforce incentives, improve network security, and promote sustainable ecosystem growth as Roam continues to scale.

3. Pilot Buyback Program
In a market as unpredictable and volatile as crypto, trading can be challenging, especially when selling pressure drives token prices down. To help stabilize the ecosystem and strengthen long-term value, Roam introduced the Pilot Buyback Program, allowing the team to repurchase $ROAM tokens from the market and reduce the circulating supply.
The program offers:
Direct and reliable sell access to the team
A 10% bonus on repurchased tokens if the current market price is above their original trade price
A secure and transparent process

4. 2025 Check-In Bonanza
Due to strong demand from the community, Roam brought back the Check-In Bonanza in October with even more rewards to encourage network participation. Users could earn up to 1,400 Roam Points and exclusive Epic Stickers by completing daily Check-Ins:
3 Check-Ins/day for 7 days: 3 Epic Stickers
5 Check-Ins/day for 7 days: 5 Epic Stickers
10 Check-Ins/day for 7 days: 10 Epic Stickers
Stickers are airdropped biweekly to participants meeting the goals, reinforcing consistent engagement while offering fun, collectible rewards.

5. Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt
From October 31 to November 6, the Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt invited users to celebrate Halloween with Roam through an exclusive in-app event. Participants earned a variety of rewards, including eSIM data, Roam Points, and Halloween stickers. Events like this increase user engagement while giving everyone the chance to explore the full capabilities of the Roam app.

6. Roam x REI Network
On October 8, 2025, Roam announced a strategic partnership with REI Network, a lightweight, EVM-compatible, high-performance, no-fee blockchain framework. Through this collaboration, Roam will integrate with REI’s EVM chain to expand staking, governance, and token operations. At the same time, REI projects gain access to Roam’s ecosystem, enabling seamless, secure, and decentralized experiences at scale.
