May was a busy month for Roam, as the team connected with industry leaders in Miami, shared a new vision for the future of the project, and launched a new campaign designed to bring more people into the RoamAI ecosystem.
Here's a look back at some of the key highlights from the month.
1. Roam at Consensus Miami 2026
May kicked off with the Roam team heading to Consensus Miami 2026, one of the largest gatherings in the blockchain and technology industries.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for the team to connect with builders, founders, investors, and innovators from across the ecosystem. Throughout the conference, Roam engaged in discussions around emerging technologies, decentralized infrastructure, AI adoption, and the future of digital connectivity.

2. Roam Co-Sponsored Payments by the Beach
During Consensus week, Roam proudly joined Omninal and POSX as a co-sponsor of Payments by the Beach, one of the standout networking events held in Miami.
The event brought together hundreds of attendees from across the Web3, fintech, payments, and infrastructure sectors for an evening of conversations, networking, and collaboration. The Roam team had the opportunity to meet new founders, builders, and industry leaders while exploring potential partnerships and future opportunities.
The event highlighted the growing intersection of connectivity, payments, AI, and digital services—areas where Roam continues to expand its ecosystem presence.

3. From Connectivity to Intelligence: Roam's Next Chapter
After building one of the world's largest decentralized wireless networks, with more than 3 million users and 6 million nodes across 180 countries, Roam is now expanding beyond connectivity into AI-powered infrastructure.
This new direction reflects Roam's vision of creating an ecosystem where connectivity, compute, AI services, and intelligent systems work seamlessly together.
This evolution is already taking shape through RoamAI, a unified platform that provides access to more than 20 leading AI models through a single account and balance. Looking ahead, Roam sees an even larger opportunity in supporting the future of intelligent devices and robotics, which will require secure connectivity, AI models, decentralized identity, financial tools, and autonomous digital infrastructure.
What began as a decentralized wireless network is evolving into a broader ecosystem designed for AI, robotics, and intelligent systems, positioning Roam for its next phase of growth.

4. Roam Hosted an AMA: From AI Tools to AI Workflows
To further explore the future of AI and intelligent infrastructure, Roam hosted a special AMA focused on the transition from AI tools to AI workflows.
Joined by guests from Astarte, Alice AI, Ctalks, Luffa AI, and Noos Network, the discussion covered topics ranging from AI adoption and user experience to the shift from standalone AI tools toward more connected AI workflows.
The conversation offered valuable perspectives from teams actively building in the AI space and helped community members gain a deeper understanding of where the industry may be heading next.

5. Roam Launched the Create with RoamAI Campaign
To celebrate creativity and encourage more users to explore the capabilities of RoamAI, Roam launched the Create with RoamAI campaign with a 100,000 $ROAM prize pool.
Running from May 21 to June 4, the campaign invited participants to create content using RoamAI and submit their creations for a chance to win rewards. With only a $1 top-up required to enter, the initiative lowered the barrier to AI creation while giving users hands-on experience with the platform's growing suite of AI tools.
Beyond rewarding creativity, the campaign also highlighted the expanding utility of the $ROAM token and Roam's commitment to making AI more accessible to its global community.
