October brought several updates to Roam AI, including lower model pricing, new plans for token utility, and ecosystem partnerships exploring the intersection of AI and decentralized connectivity.
The month also saw a new community campaign encouraging users to experiment with AI-generated content.
Here's a look back at some of the key highlights from October.
1. Roam AI Introduces New Pricing for Selected Models
Roam AI announced a pricing update for selected Claude and GPT models, bringing their rates down to just 10% of standard API prices. The 90% reduction makes it more affordable for users to access supported AI models through the platform.
Alongside lower costs, Roam AI continues to bring multiple models together under one platform and balance, giving users greater flexibility to explore different AI tools without managing separate accounts and payment systems.

2. Roam Outlines Plans for a Token Factory in the AI Era
Roam shared its vision for a "Token Factory for the AI Era," outlining plans to expand its token ecosystem alongside its growing focus on AI services.
The proposed developments include a staking program, a mining mechanism, and additional utility for R Dollar and ROAM within Roam AI. While these initiatives remain under development, they represent Roam's efforts to connect its existing token ecosystem with future AI applications and services.

3. Roam Partners with Ocean6
Roam announced a partnership with Ocean6 to explore new opportunities at the intersection of AI-powered services, intelligent devices, and decentralized connectivity.
The collaboration focuses on how Roam's global connectivity network and AI-native infrastructure could support applications involving autonomous systems and AI-driven businesses. As intelligent devices and services become more widely adopted, the two teams aim to explore potential applications across these emerging areas.

4. Roam Collaborates with TadaPay on AI Agent Payments
October also brought a collaboration with TadaPay, a project developing merchant infrastructure for payments initiated by autonomous AI agents.
While TadaPay focuses on enabling transactions carried out by AI agents, Roam is building decentralized connectivity infrastructure for intelligent services and devices. The collaboration explores how these areas could work together as AI agents take on more tasks involving payments and real-world transactions.

5. Halloween AI Meme Challenge with MonoPoly Market and MojoGoGo
To close out October, Roam teamed up with MonoPoly Market and MojoGoGo to launch the Halloween AI Meme Challenge, inviting community members to create Halloween-themed memes using Roam AI.
Running from October 31 to November 7, the campaign offers a total prize pool of 50,000 $ROAM and 130U RoamAI Token, with seven winners selected based on creativity, visual quality, and Halloween relevance.
The challenge brings together the three communities while giving participants another opportunity to explore AI image generation through Roam AI.
