1. Bybit Joins Roam Business eSIM Program

In May, Roam welcomed Bybit, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange with approximately 2,300 employees worldwide, into its Business eSIM program. This partnership enables Bybit’s team, spread across six continents including Asia, Europe, and Africa, to access Roam’s seamless global eSIM service. Bybit employees can claim their free eSIM by entering a special code on Roam’s website, then downloading the Roam App and activating their eSIM.

This collaboration not only strengthens the relationship between Roam and Bybit but also reflects Bybit’s strong support for Roam’s innovative technology. Looking ahead, Roam anticipates welcoming many more businesses to join the Business eSIM program, expanding its network of partners and increasing global accessibility.

2. Launch of Paparun Game

On May 14, Roam launched Paparun, an exciting new mobile game that brings fun and rewards. The game offers two thrilling modes, “Hide and Run” and “Crazy Run,” where players can bet Roam Points to win additional rewards. Paparun not only entertains but also encourages users to stay active. To participate, users simply link their Roam app account, creating a seamless connection between gaming and the Roam platform. 

3. Roam at Solana Accelerate

Solana Accelerate 2025 in New York brought together over 3,000 builders, executives, and policymakers for a week of in-depth discussions on technology, finance, and policy conversations. As a project built on Solana, Roam was invited to present at the event alongside PolyFlow.

At the event, Roam introduced its vision for a global decentralized WiFi network and demonstrated the features of the Roam App, which empowers users to connect, earn, and contribute to the network. The team also announced the upcoming launch of the Premium eSIM, an enhanced version of Roam Global eSIM.

Roam’s presence at Accelerate highlighted its progress and reinforced its leading role in building a decentralized global WiFi network. The event was a valuable opportunity for the Roam team to connect with other projects in the DePIN space and beyond, paving the way for future partnerships and innovation.

4. Upcoming Premium eSIM Launch

One of the most highly anticipated features is the upcoming Roam Premium eSIM, which provides a phone number with data, voice, and SMS functionality. This new eSIM is a perfect solution for travelers, remote workers, and global businesses looking to stay connected 24/7 with secure, affordable, and borderless access.

To activate the Premium eSIM, users must complete a KYC verification process and have a sufficient balance in their account. Users can seamlessly switch between the Roam Global eSIM and the Premium eSIM at any time, with their balance automatically transferred to the currently active plan.

5. Roam Collaborates with PolyFlow on Scan-to-Earn

Roam is proud to be the first project to integrate with PolyFlow’s newly launched “Double Points for Partners” feature. Starting May 27, 2025, Roam users can earn double PolyFlow points by uploading receipts from purchases made within the Roam app to https://app.polyflow.tech/. 

By partnering with PolyFlow, an innovative PayFi protocol designed to connect real-world assets (RWA) with decentralized finance (DeFi), Roam adds a new layer of value for users, allowing them to earn extra rewards from everyday purchases made within the app.
